#141 Excessive salt inevitably causes salt damage

#141 Excessive salt inevitably causes salt damage
Excessive salt inevitably causes salt damage

The case of an orchard in Yamagata Prefecture, which was presented at the EM Graviton Farming Workshop in March 2019, is information that all should share. the misuse of salt caused salt damage, resulting in a serious situation. I was In 2018, at this orchard, stakeholders contacted at the end of August 2018, confirmed conditions at the site on September 6th, and took measures with Graviton technology (the EM Graviton agricultural technology introduced in article #129), which was not yet released at that time.

Before that, the cherries sent from the orchard were the best I have ever seen, but the level of the hado was unexpectedly low. Just when I was wondering why, I heard that the owner broke his heel at the orchard.

I thought that, in terms of quantum mechanics, in an orchard that used EM thoroughly something unforeseen was happening. Then, when I heard that salt damage had occurred, I received the following report from U-net (United Networks for Earth Environment) Japanese only.

Progress report on salt utilization and rectification boundary at orchards /U-net Yamagata

Conducted in 2018 for 10a of cherry trees (30 trees) under the guidance of EM Seikatsu, Inc.

2017

Applied 50 kg of salt on 10a

April 3, 2018
<First time>
Applied 400kg of salt on 10a, sprayed 1000 liters of 1:50 dilution of Activated EM solution. Watered for three days only during the daytime with the irrigation sprinkler. The pruned branches from the orchard area of 1 ha were made into charcoal and spread over the cherry field.

<Second time>
Applied 400kg of salt on 10a, sprayed 1000 liters of 1:50 dilution of Activated EM solution. Watered for three days only during the daytime with the irrigation sprinkler.

<Third time>
Applied 200kg of salt on 10a. Watered for one day during the daytime with the irrigation sprinkler.

Harvested cherries

July 1, 2018

Salt damage occurred in one young tree. The leaves of the cherries turned brown.

July, 2018

It has been extremely hot, and as suggested, watered with sprinkler once every third day.

August 21, 2018
Most of the cherry trees were salt damaged, and staff members from EM Seikatsu, Inc. who instructed us came to see how the trees lost leaves. After that, I was instructed by EM Seikatsu, Inc.to apply four liters of activated stock solution per cherry tree. (This advice was from Dr. Katayama, Niigata Prefecture).

August 28, 2018
I was quite surprised to see that flowers have bloomed on some cherrybranches. I felt something was happening with these trees.

Summary of the owner’s comment

The biggest cause was the fact that I applied 1000kg of salt to 10a. They should have instructed me more carefully, such as telling me to only use half that amount. Fruit trees should produce excellent fruit with a balance of healthy roots and leaves and the nutrition stored from the previous year. Currently, this balance has completely collapsed. There is nothing as sensitive to changes in the environment as cherry trees. It is said that they will take eight years to revive if the trees grow weak, and with a substantial loss. Please check these trees thoroughly and instruct me how to restore the cherries quickly and correctly.

U-net director’s comment

I visited the site on August 29, 2018. In order to correctly ascertain the situation, I think it is important for Dr. Higa and staff members of EM Research Organization, Inc. to visit the orchard site as soon as possible and give the owner their valuable guidance.

Salt damage measures

 I was at a loss for words when I saw the photos. This method mistakes salt for bokashi and applies it as such. Although salt eventually becomes fertilizer, that takes 30 to 40 days, and in such a method, the roots directly below the salt will wither.

It is the same level as 20 tons of salt applied per 10a. If salt is spread evenly and thinly to prevent weeds, it will not cause any problems even if about 1 ton of salt is applied per year.

In particular, the method of applying it in the form of a belt in a circle is the worst. Although the situation was quite severe, I decided that countermeasures were possible, because it was the beginning of September.

First of all, we reinforced the EM barrier. We putrectifying stickers on the poles of each boundary and at the same time on each tree. This is done to concentrate the graviton energy. We asked the owner to confirm the strength of the barrier using the O-Ring Test.

Next, I instructed that they carry out the quantum superposition effect, which is an application of baker’s transformation. Dilute 1000 times the original product of EM-X GOLD used for testing, which has been rectified to the highest level at the time, and apply it lightly with a watering can. There is no need to cover the entire tree. Use about 1 to 2 liters per tree.

As a regular size watering can is too large, a 2-liter children’s toy size watering can is good since it is light and can be easily shaken, so it reaches from the middle to the top of the tree. Continue this daily until defoliation begins. If done well, one application takes about 10 minutes.

At the same time, I told the owner to apply a 1:500 to 1:1000 dilution of activated EM solution every one to two weeks, and make sure to saturate it well.

After that, the leaf color somewhat returned and it was possible to connect this with the natural defoliation of winter without actual defoliation. The winter buds of trees, which should have dried up, were large and plump, and the trees recovered almost completely.

The following are the results in 2019.

So things ended well, and it should be noted that the current version of EM-X GOLD has reached the same level as the original EM-X GOLD used for testing at the time. By making a 1:10,000 dilution of EM-X GOLD, using it to achieve a baker’s transformation effect, or by adding EM-X GOLD to a 1:10,000 of the activated EM solution, the hado of the activated EM solution can be remarkably strengthened.

This year’s cherry hado values of this orchard topped the limit (see Table 1), it is outstandingly healthful food, and can be stored for quite a long time. As for the utilization of salt in the orchard as seen here, it is recommended to apply it thinly and widely on the soil surface in the orchard with 200 kg as the standard amount, focusing on its use on weeds and as a weed-control measure.
