School Sustainable Gardening Competition
To Earth With Love is a NGO group based in Saba, Malaysia that actively promotes the use of EM Technology for schools and comunities.

Since 2014 they succesfully launched and organized the Sustainable Gardening Competition for secondary school annually.

The Sustainable Gardening Competition consists in students taking care of an assigned parcel of land for growing plants, vegetables and flowers as much as sustainable and creative they can.
This is an extra curricular activity supervised by school teachers who are also trained by the NGO group To Earth With Love.

In order to launch this project they are finantially supported by the local government and EM resellers in cooperation with the NGO group, provide with EM products.

Sustainable Gardening Competition Project

The Sustainable Gardening Competition held every year and the gradening project takes about 6 months. 

After students design the land distribution and grow their produces, a group of judges including organic farmers, go to inspection and evaluate the work.

During the inspection, students themselves have to guide and explain to judges, how they do farming as well as how they deal with problems such as harmful insects and diseases in detail.

Competition Awards 

As every year the competition ends with the award ceremony where students have to do their presentations and they are prized with different types of awads from Best Innovative and Best Mentoring to Consolation Prizes.

Moreover, students' harvested produces and flowers are also exhibited in a corner of the venue.

In 2018 the gardening program ran from April to October with the participation of 11 schools, 11 principals, 22 teachers, 110 students, 9 judges and 10 members of the NGO group.

Incentive Tour to Saraburi Center

The Sustainable Gardening Competition Project ends with an incentive tour to the model farm, Saraburi Center in Thailand, for those teachers and leaders who were involved in the winner school.

The delegation of winners have the opportunity of participating in a workshop to learn more on EM Technology application and new methods at Saraburi Center.
