A new research paper on EM and bee keeping
Researchers that EMRO cooperates with in their researches on EM application for apiculture published a new research paper.

"Effects on some Therapeutical, Biochemical, and Immunological Parameters of Honey Bee Exposed to Probiotic Treatments, in Field and Laboratory Conditions,” by Dr. Ivana Tlak Gajger (middle in the top photo) of University of Zagreb and 4 other researchers, was accepted by Journal of Insects.

Their research is the first to show the effects of EM on immunological status of honey bees and the Nosema disease, one of the biggest problems in apiculture around the world.

With University of Zagreb,we will continue researching how EM influences the gut microbiome of bees.

Furthermore, we would like to extend our sincere appreciation to EFEKTIVNI MIKROORGANIZMI ORIGINALNA TEHNOLOGIJA RIJEKA d.o.o., our partner in Croatia, for their great support to this research. Over 8 years, they have contributed to the development of EM application in apiculture by actively sharing information to the EM partner companies in surrounding countries.
Hvala vam!
