Our partner in Kenya, EMTEC Effective Microorganisms Technologies Ltd. produces EM compost called "Mazao Bora" that is made from water hyacinth.
The water hyacinth grow up on the surface of the sewage pond that collects sewage water from the Kibera slum, one of the largest slum in the continent.

Our technical officer was on the site, in the opportunity of the celebration of the Agricultural Festival in Embu.
Policemen introduced their activities and one of the highlights were the prisoners who work making EM compost recycling the garbage from the city and used to grow vegetables in the prison garden.
