Overview
EM Universal Village (UV) is a project undertaken by us the first and second phase of “Cleating a Village of Health and Welfare Utilizing Agriculture” promoted by the Kitanakagusuku Village in Okinawa. We aim to solve various social issues through EM technology and to create a model of a local community living in harmony with nature in cooperation with the local government.

About Schoolchildren’s Farm
As the first phase of the “EM Universal Village Project in Kitanakagusuku,” a school children's farm was developed adjacent to the BioCycle Center and the ICT Solar Hydroponics Facility, and has been in operation since April 2024. At the schoolchildren’s farm, local elementary school students can enjoy an agricultural experience as part of the environmental study curriculum and social education. Furthermore, BioCycle Center generates power and produces organic fertilizer using food waste, including waste from the elementary school, so that students will learn and experience sustainable agriculture.
