A school children's farm of the “EM Universal Village Project in Kitanakagusuku”

In the first phase of the “EM Universal Village Project in Kitanakagusuku”, a school children's farm is being developed adjacent to the BioCycle Center and an ICT solar hydroponic cultivation facility. At the schoolchildren’s farm, local elementary school students can enjoy an agricultural experience as part of the environmental study curriculum and social education.
An orientation for students was held last week. The students were given a tour of the construction site of the BioCycle Center and ICT solar hydroponic cultivation facility and they had the opportunity to harvest carrots from the test plots.
