✅About the Genki Ala Wai Project:
The Ala Wai Canal in Honolulu, Hawaii was one of the rivers exposed to severe water pollution. The Genki Ala Wai Project was launched in 2019 under the Hawaii Exemplary State Foundation. The project aims to make the canal fishable and swimmable again by 2026 with the cooperation of the educational sector and the community.
