Mokichi Okada, the founder of Nature Farming, says that “Nature is God” and we all should learn according to the rule of Nature. One finds examples of such logic throughout history, but common sense up till now has it ending at the level of self-satisfaction.
For thirty-five years, I have continued to actively cooperate with people who believe in Mokichi Okada’s teaching, for guidance on Nature Farming using EM and various environmental purification activities. Mokichi Okada said such things as, “No matter how much the number of human beings increases, the soil has the role to produce the necessary food, and all agricultural production problems can be easily solved if the essence of the soil is revived(…).Respect the soil, and if you make it pure and increase its purification power, the soil will become a lump of fertilizer, and become a skilled worker who can grow crops(…).It is basically wrong to use fertilizer to increase revenue.” Conventional organic farming seems to be essentially wrong.

The MC Kyuseishinkyo group in Tsu City, Mie Prefecture uses EM technology to actively put into practice the kind of ideal Nature Farming advocated by Mokichi Okada. The Shinsen Spark Farm, which I already introduced in previous essay #131, is one of them.

Rice Harvesting Experience at the Shinsen Spark Farm
The MC Kyuseishinkyo has actively taken up the challenge of growing vegetables and rice based on the achievements of the Graviton farming method, at Miroku Community (MC), which is equivalent to each branch. Their ultimate goal is “Agriculture, centered on EM, that utilizes the versatility of microorganisms.”
At the beginning of this year, the MC Kyuseishinkyo group started with the following guidelines. As a group of people inexperienced in agriculture, although it achieved ordinary results, the numerical value of the Hado, wave energy, related to the health of the harvested rice reached an astonishing level.

In other words, as shown in Table 1, they were able to break through the ideal value of healthy, balanced eating that will prevent and cure disease, and produce rice that is truly excellent for one’s health. The Spark Farm Rice Cultivation Guideline was issued on September 20 with various improvements from the results of this growing season, such as the amount of salt and application method. It is a guideline for use from this fall to next spring.
The important point of these guidelines is that “We will take measures against weeds using salt spreaders after preparing a rice field for planting by flooding it and tilling the soil.” (Photos 3 and 4)
By repeating this kind of ingenuity, by strengthening boundaries with EM technology and increasing the density of EM, no-tillage and direct seeding will become realistic possibilities in the future. In addition, you would be able to see ways to minimize salt, charcoal and EM.
