In Maharashtra, India, the challenge of wastewater management is being met with innovative solutions. Through use of EM Technology, the Bhandup Wastewater Treatment Facility is undergoing a remarkable transformation. This initiative not only addresses water pollution but also safeguards the region’s rich biodiversity.

India, one of the world’s fastest-growing economies, faces a major challenge: wastewater management. In the western Indian state of Maharashtra, known for its diverse cultural heritage, bustling cities like Mumbai, and rich history, is estimated that 9,107 million liters of sewage is discharged per day, but the lack of proper treatment has been a problem.
