Bad odor vanishes from a rubber factory
Just like most rubber factories, S&C LATEX (PVT) LIMITED, in Sri Lanka, was facing a huge problem of foul odor in their rubber factory.

The smell is caused by ammonia, which needs to be added to keep the liquid rubber alkarilic. Without ammonia, rubber is separated, and high-quality latex cannot be produced.

In order to solve this problem, they started adding Activated EM・1 to the tanks for purifying waste water after obtaining latex. By adding EM to the tanks every week, the terrible smell has gone away, and the workers can work in better environment.
