An annual environmental event was introduced on the local portal site of Rijeka, Croatia, Riportal. On World Water Day, 14,000 EM Mudballs were thrown into the sea by the Rikard Katalinić Jeretov Elementary School students. A local water supply and distribution company, Liburnijske vode, organized the event in cooperation with our partner, EFEKTIVNI MIKROORGANIZMI ORIGINALNA TEHNOLOGIJA RIJEKA d.o.o., and the city of to commemorate the 140 anniversary of water supply and the 120 anniversary of drainage in Liburnija.
